Nomination Period
July 15, 2024 - August 9, 2024
All Filing Fees, Nomination Papers, Candidate Statement of Qualifications and Declaration of Candidacies are due at this time. (The non-refundable filing fee is payable to the Registrar of Voters, and must be paid at the time the candidate obtains the nomination forms.) -
Nomination Extension Period
August 10, 2024 - August 14, 2024
Nomination Period extended ONLY to non-incumbent if the incumbent does not file Nomination Papers by August 9, 2024. -
Random Alpha
August 15, 2024
Randomized alphabet drawing done by the Secretary of State to determine the order of candidates on the ballot. -
Write-in Period
September 9, 2024 - October 22, 2024
Nomination Petitions to become a qualified write-in candidate shall be filed during this period. -
Vote by Mail Period Starts
October 7, 2024
This is the first day that Vote by Mail Ballots can be mailed to voters. -
15 Day Close
October 21, 2024
This is the last day a voter can register to vote and receive a ballot by mail. All voters that register after this date will need to go to the Election Office or a Vote Center to receive a ballot. -
